I'm going to drive to a neighboring town tomorrow and look at a brand new 1997 Savage that's been in the distribution pipeline and/or sitting around a dealership for more than three years. Would the tires still be relatively fresh and give normal service, so to speak, or will the rubber have begun to age, crack and otherwise oxidize (if tires do such things) after the passage of time? Thanks.
